Mike's PictureA graduate of Clarkson College of Technology, Mike began his career with the Department of Transportation in 1984 after spending eleven years in the private engineering sector. As a CE II, Mike is the Operations Supervisor in the Regional Traffic Safety & Mobility Office. He previously served as a Squad Leader in the Regional Design Office for many years. He joined the Association of Transportation Engineers in 1984 and has been a very active member in the organization. His efforts on the Technical Program Committee for Conference 65 held in Alexandria Bay, helped to make the conference very successful. Mike has also been instrumental in organizing insurance coverage for our annual cabin fever picnics. He is a past member of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers and served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Jefferson County Chapter for 19 years. A life long member of Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Parish, Mike is a Eucharistic Minister at scheduled masses and is also a member of the Glenwood Cemetery Committee and a past member of the Immaculate Heart Central High School Sports Finance Council. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of the American Legion. Mike and his wife Gail have been married for 33 years and reside in Watertown. They have four children and two grandchildren. He takes a great deal of pride and puts a great deal of effort into every aspect of his life. His family, his faith and his professionalism are carried in balance.
