Eight applications were received for the 2008 scholarships. The scholarship selection committee, consisting of Brian Bellan (chair), Phil Klingler (life member), Rick Burgwardt and Carl Jarvis, reviewed each application and made awards based on academic achievement and each candidate's involvement and participation in civic and extra-curricular activities.
