Each year the New York Association of Transportation Engineers (NYSATE) awards scholarships to eligible members and their dependents. In 2009, NYSATE Section 1, awarded four $1000.00 scholarships as follows: Tyler Masick, the Frederick E. Bragg Memorial scholarship, Michael J. Bridges, the Thomas M. Hulchanski Memorial scholarship, Annalyse Komoroske, the Robert W. Craver Memorial scholarship and Adam Forshey, the Richard A. Pearce scholarship.
